CASE STUDY: Branding the Whose Shoes Movement

After having conquered our own personal and professional struggles to finally walk in our own shoes, my sister, Christine St. Vil, and I decided to write a book providing powerful insights to move other women along in their God-given purpose. In Whose Shoes Are You Wearing? 12 Steps to Uncovering the Woman You Were Really Meant to Be, we take women through key steps to help them create unprecedented transformation in their own lives. By creating a powerful, highly engaging brand and additional products for the book along with implementing a savvy social media strategy, Whose Shoes has become a movement to help women embark upon their own journey to discover the shoes God meant for them. The book has more than 35+ 5-star Amazon reviews and has been featured on national and international media. Creating the brand for the Whose Shoes Movement included designing the book and overall brand, creating the annual Whose Shoes planners as well as T-shirts, exhibit, online graphics and art directing a photo shoot and video(s) produced by Tameka Harris of Vibrant Video Live. The social media strategy, partnership development, and blog tour were all handled by Christine St. Vil of Purpose Driven Media.

The branding and messaging was so effective that the book launch was sold out with a standing room only crowd, the Whose Shoes Twitter party garnered more 6 million timeline impressions, and the book and calendar/planner have helped to change the lives of thousands of women worldwide.
